Nine Inch Nails annouces tour dates w/ Janes Addiction

Some of the lawn seats are under 30.

Street Sweeper is Morello, which could lead to some cool guitar solos with either NIN or Janes.

Janes is doing it to possibly work on a new CD and upcoming box set, NIN is doing a no frills version of the show after the big light show from last year. I think Janes with Eric possibly have one good CD in them. Strays wasn't bad. I had seen Satellite Party and it was an 80 percent Janes set.

Reznor still doesn't own the Pretty Hate Machine masters but is happy that TVT went under. Pirate Bay has a copy of the still unreleased Closure available for fans to download. He can't go on record saying he released it but he released it.

Both bands over the years have been known to come out and meet with fans, even when it's been arena tours.

I wonder at the festival shows if Perry's doing some DJ work.

Wow

If anyone does get to one of these shows, look closely in the crowd for a pasty white-boy with what appears to be orange dreads tucked into some kind of hat or head-gear, wearing shades and a couple of under-cover body-guards in close range of him - snap a picture and paste it in this thread - and while you're at it..........ask him when CD II is coming out

$240 for two tickets?

I got two for $120 from JA site. The tickets went on sale at 4 pm here and I logged on at 4:20 and all the pit seats were GONE!!

I'm still a bit irked at that, seeing as this is my first concert to see NIN I was hpoing to score some pit tickets, but at least I got some!!

Looking forward to may12!!!

You can download a free EP, from their website, of previously unreleased material by Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction as a "tour sampler". It also includes two tracks my Street Sweeper, who are touring with the two.

NIN|JA 2009 Tour Sampler EP

Tracklist:

1. Jane's Addiction - Chip Away

2. NIN - Not So Pretty Now

3. Street Sweeper - Clap For The Killers

4. Jane's Addiction - Whores

5. NIN - Non-Entity

6. Street Sweeper - The Oath

Download

Fuckin cool cd!

I like everything on it.

I'm diggin' the Street Sweeper stuff...gonna be a great way to kick off the show.

Not So Pretty Now...that's a great tune man...really into that one.

i wish Non-Entity was more stripped down, like how it was played at the katrina benefit show...awesome performance with only Trent, a piano and his drum machine.
