Marky Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Spinal Tap will play a "One Night Only World Tour" at Wembley Arena on June 30.The one-off London show will mark the 25th anniversary of the iconic film about the rock band, 'This Is Spinal Tap'. Support will come from The Folksmen, who like Spinal Tap found recent fame themselves after featuring in the 'documentary' 'A Mighty Wind'.Speaking about the limited nature of their "world tour", guitarist Nigel Tufnel declared: "If we're going to do a world tour on only one night, at least it's this world." Bassist Derek Smalls added: "One night is not enough, and it's way too much!"Tickets go on sale on Thursday (April 9). Marky Posted April 6, 2009 Author Posted April 6, 2009 Saw them at Live Earth when they did the huge bass-off Legends. However, money is lacking at the moment, may have to wait and see. Quote
Johnny Utah Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Go on Youtube and look up "ANVIL: The Story of Anvil" trailer. It's a new documentary about the band that is basically the real life Spinal Tap movie, but it's heartbreakingly good as well. Also Slash and others give interviews during it. Quote
