Gallagher Rose
Chronic Town, Murmur and Reckoning..really great stuff from the early 80s. It was a sincere alternative rock with good melodies and great lyrics. Stipe's voice was really good and the sound of these albums influenced some bands like Nirvana, Mudhoney, Husker Du and other ones.Top tunes:Radio Free EuropeLaughingStumblePerfect CircleShaking ThroughPRetty PersuasionHarborcoatSitting StillCarnival of Sorts
Marky
Really good band overall, had 1 or 2 iffy albums, but most of their stuff is gold. I love the tracks 'Animal' and 'Daysleeper'.
