Amadou & Mariam w/ David Gilmour May 25th

David Gilmour of Pink Floyd is going to be performing as a special guest of Amadou & Mariam, a well known duo from Mali, at a one-off show at a secret venue somewhere in central London. It will take place on Monday 25th May 2009. All proceeds from the performance will go to the homeless charity Crisis.

Amadou plays a Fender in the Ernest Ranglin style. They are a phenomenon.

I wanna see Gilmour live so bad, but it's too far for me to travel without it being one of Gilmour's own shows, instead of just a special guest.
