stacks on deck Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 listening to the recently-leaked new sunn o))) album earlier reminded of boris, and, being the nice guy i am, i figured i'd tell you guys to cut off the judas priest and twisted sister and listen to a band that doesn't disguise their metal as top-40 pop music aimed at 13-year olds listening to the radio. pick an album--pink, the live version of smile, feedbacker, absolutego, akuma no uta, amplifier worship, their collab w/ sunn o))), altar--download it, and blow yr. mind. I happen to like Heavy music just fine. In fact, Sludge/Doom Metal happens to be one of my favorite kinds of music. I just don't like Drone Metal, is all.
