Songs of Love and Hate - Leonard Cohen

Though, after listening to it, I'm much more depressed than before, I simply love the desperate and melancholic atmosphere of this album when I'm feeling blue.

Scott Weiland - Paralysis

Scott Weiland - Pictures and Computers

Both off of Happy in Galoshes

Both of those tunes have pretty much been my personal soundtrack of late. Not just lyrically but the melodies as well.

It's the most underrated album ever in my opinion. I like the non edited version of Semi-Charmed Life, which is what this album and band are most known for, but listen to the second half of this album. Songs like Motorcycle Drive Bye, The Background, and God Of Wine are some of the best songs written and performed.

On topic. I listen to Alice In Chains Jar Of Flies when I'm down, or Type O Negative's World Coming Down.

Y Control is a song I listen to when I'm feeling sluggish and want to get moving.

Cardigans - First Band on The Moon

How can anyone not love the song, "Happy Meal 2."

Cardigans are wicked and she is so beautiful.

I dont believe for one second that anyone will listen to this link but if they do they will be forever in my debt at discovering an amazing melancholy song by a great, great band

+1

In the US they get labeled as a "One Hit Wonder" cause of Lovefool; But if people take the time to listen to the whole album, they'll realize the whole thing is pretty damn good.

In fact, Lovefool is probaly the weakest track on the album.
