stevGNR666 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 So according to Antiquiet, three of the biggest men in rock are finally getting together and creating an album.Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters (we always feel we should state Nirvana too), Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin are currently jamming in a studio over in L.A. and apparently, they're not leaving until a full-length has been made. Not much else has been confirmed or revealed so far on the new project so keep checking back for more news as it happens.http://strangeglue.com/news/grohl-homme-an...s-its-happening Quote

misch Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) Dave Grohl, Josh Homme & John Paul Jones SupergroupA Foo Fighter, a Queen of the Stone Age and a member of one of the greatest bands of all time are set to join forces to create one hell of a supergroup. Could this also include Mike Patton?Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones are currently holed up in a Los Angeles studio recording an album together. The long-touted project has had the cat let out of the bag by Homme’s wife, Brody Dalle of Spinnerette.Speaking to Anti-Quiet, Dalle said: "I’m not at liberty to talk about it… but I think (the project) is pretty fucking amazing. Just beats and sounds like you’ve never heard before."It was recently revealed that Homme and Mike Patton of Faith No More were working on a project together. Could this project be what was rumored and how much ass would it kick if it was?Source: Metal HammerNow that would be cool...(though a new FNM album would be even cooler) Edited July 6, 2009 by misch Quote
