Stiff Competition
Unholy>>>>>Detroit Rock City.this is trueso is basically everything off of their first 3 albums as well as mostly everything off of rock n roll over. KISS' hits are by NO MEANS, their best songs. If someone wants to hear good KISS music, all they have to do is put on hotter than hell or dressed to kill. LightningBolt
Vinnie Vincent was terrific in Vinnie Vincent Invasion, his solo band, but with Kiss, not so much in my opinion.

Stiff Competition
Just got 3rd row center seats for Staples Center in November. I did the premium package for 295.00 a ticket. You ge tall kinds of extra junk to go along with the tickets, but I'm totally stoked about this. I've seen this lineup of KISS up close in casinos and outdoor grandtsand type settings but never up close in an arena. I was pretty far back on the KISS/Aerosmith tour when it was still 3/4 the originals. I don't care who's in the band as long as Ace is out there solo, everyone can get the best of both worlds. Vinnie came over to say hi and it went from there. All wen well until they were finishin' up the last song of the sessions (Heart of Chrome) - and the money came down to discussion again... Of course Gene+Paul always have put 100% of the crap on Vinnie - I do think that he is difficult, but so are Gene+Paul.A total of five (Vinnie) songs were recorded - it would be interesting to hear to two other tracks. Also there is said to be a good quality version of Unholy with Vinnie on guitar + backin vocs - now that would be something!Anyway the new KISS stuff is okay - the new Ace album is KILLER! Way to go Ace!

LightningBolt
The redone classics part has been out for a while, I think in Japan under some weird Japanese name. I've heard a few. They're pretty similar, not really worth getting if you have the originals, nor is it really worth paying more for the Deluxe Album if that's all you get with it.
