bsubronco2003
I have no idea how many of you know who Pennywise even is, or how influential there are/were but their lead singer just left the band. This band defined my teenage years. I'm going to regret turning down tickets to see them last year, because I figured they would be around again shortly. Supposedly the other 3 guys are continuing on, but it isn't going to be the same without Jim. This is a sad day for punk
Marky
I saw this. I've never heard of them. Recommended tunes?
bsubronco2003
I saw this. I've never heard of them. Recommended tunes?I started with Full Circle which is a great starting off point. Dedicated to their first bassist who committed suicide. Its darker then any of their other albums as well. The last verse of Bro Hymn still gives me chills to this day.Straight Ahead would be another great album to start with. With My Own Country, Can't Believe It, and Victim of Reality.Really you can't go wrong with any of their stuff. Their last couple albums got a bit more alt rock and more "radio friendly". Anything up to Land of the Free? is classic Pennywise.
