Demon Wolf Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That is some horrendous sound quality. Practice my man, you could do with some improved singing! Quote
Demon Wolf Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 (edited) That is some horrendous sound quality. Practice my man, you could do with some improved singing! And could you do better? It'd be pointless trying in vain to sing like Axl man... Here's me singing If The World. I can't sing like Axl, but I don't try to imitate him either. I was just saying you could work on improving your singing, you don't need to sound like Axl for it to be good! Edited October 5, 2009 by Demon Wolf Quote
Budweiser Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I agree with Demon Wolf - Axl's voice is so distinct and dynamic that in most cases you have a better chance of sounding successful by adding your own influence than his. But, let's be honest, the quality of that video is so piss poor that none of us are in any position to judge you appropriately... final_touches Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Apart from the sound quality I kinda liked it!Could you write out the chords of the song? Quote
final_touches Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Apart from the sound quality I kinda liked it!Could you write out the chords of the song? Thanks man, I guess that i just get bored of seeing a million people putting up the same old licks on youtube you know...Yeah the singing's a bit ropey(and deffo at the end) and the sound quality makes me wanna hack my ears off in reflection... but It's gonna be my mission to try and do as many obscure GnR tunes just for fun, me and a mate were doing some great versions of 'Pretty Tied Up', Bad Apples', 'Out ta Get me' and 'One in a Million'(alt lyrics, lol) all on acoustics. And he's a faaar better singer than me (i'm a noob to the singing, i've been hiding behind my guitar for years so it's getting there)I'll get round to the chords at some point for ya but it'll be a little while cos it's mostly in my head what they are, all except for the outro... man they're tricky chords to remember... Peacout all...Same bat time... Same bat channell...Cool, looking forward to it! Quote
