ThinkAboutYou
New GNR Flyer for my collection (should arrive soon)Guns N' Roses flyer from 1985. This flyer promoted 3 different shows. April 24th at the Troubadour, April 25th at Dancing Waters Club, and April 27th at Timbers Club. This was before Slash and Steven Adler were in the band. At this point the band consisted of Axl, Izzy, Duff, Tracii Guns, and the drummer was unknown for this show hence the ? mark over his face. (If there wasn't a question mark over his face, it would be easier to tell!) They were back and forth so much, the dates run together. Adler and Slash had actually already been playing with Axl and Weber I think as Hollywood Rose. But not as GN'R and not these shows.

snooze72
Yep it would have been Rob Gardner. Rob and Tracii then quit the band in JuneWhat is the first 'GN'R' flyer? Is it this one? I've put all this together before and I'm sure there's a site or page out there somewhere detailing the gigs and who was in the band(s), but I forget and don't have the time or energy to think about it or look it up. I believe they all ALMOST did the New Years Eve gig at the Dancing Waters with the whole band except Duff -- Axl, Slash, Izzy and Adler with Steve Darrow on bass. But Adler was pissed at Axl for something and didn't want to do it, and Slash said had another gig, although it may have been because they had a falling out, too), so it ended up being Axl, Izzy, Darrow, Weber and Gardner. Trivia. Edited November 13, 2009 by snooze72
