When were Testament in Syracuse? Didn't know about that!

How can OP afford all that?

I spend most of my money on concerts. Plus, probably a third of those shows were under $30, and 5 of them I got into for free.

Hummm didn't attend to much shows this year because I couldn't risk the chance to getting hit for six months because of an accident so:

07/07/09 Nine Inch Nails

08/09/09 Muse

17/11/09 Muse

I was supposed to see Emiliana Torrini on September 29th but for some obscure reason I convinced myself the show was on the 30th and didn't check my tickets and when the 30th came, I went to the Olympia and... I read the date 10 times on my ticket: September 29th. You can't imagine how made I was, I fucking love Emiliana Torrini and I have never seen her live yet. GODAMMIT I STILL HATE MYSELF FOR MISSING THAT SHOW WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS TOPIC?!!!!

That's it for this year :rofl-lol:

My resolution for this year was to attend a major concert at least once every month. It looks like my luck is going to run out this month, but the previous 11 weren't too bad

Jan: AC/DC/The Answer

February: Avenged Sevenfold/Buckcherry/Papa Roach

March: Joe Bonamassa

April: Kings of Leon

May: Bruce Springsteen

June: Black Keys, Jane's Addiction/Nine Inch Nails, Aerosmith/ZZ Top

July: Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick, Ratt/Extreme

August: George Thorogood/Jonny Lang, CrueFest 2

September: Robin Trower

October: U2/Muse, UFO

November: Tesla

All in all it's been disappointing year, particularly in compariston to last year in the amount of bands I've meneged to see. The quality's been excellent though.

This year I've seen:

The Answer

The Subways

AC/DC

U2

Blair Douglas

King Creosote

The Peatbog Faeries

Runrig x2

Just out of curiosity, where exactly is there to play in Scarborough? I go to the area on vacation every year and can't think of any venues really...

It was an in-store show at a Bull Moose Music shop to promote their new album. It's right by the mall, if you know where that is. On a related note, Maine really needs more/better venues.

Is it the Bull Moose in the same plaza as the army store? That's the only one I actually know where it is, but I love that place. Always get plenty of albums there every summer, can't beat their prices.

Sunday, 6th of December...

W.A.S.P. in Glasgow! Pretty good gig, but before Blind in Texas at the end Blackie said "I'd like to apologise, I've got the flu real bad and I feel like I'm ripping you guys off..." Nah, it was awesome :xmasssanta:

Saw Metallica in Sheffield in February. Mindblowing to see a band I've wanted to see live for 8 years and be right at the front rock1

Spent way too much on AC/DC tickets for Glasgow in June, didn't even get to go and didn't have time to sell them on :( Oh well...
