Black Sabbath
Ironic because that's Ozzy's least favorite album of his. He doesn't even talk about it at all in his autobiography. But then again, he doesn't go in depth with any others besides No More Tears and Blizzard of Ozz really...I like the album a lot as well though. artfromtex
Ironic because that's Ozzy's least favorite album of his. he even deleted it from his catalog along with "Speak Of The Devil" (another personal favorite). needless to say, his 2002 remaster campaign with the re-recorded parts and deleted titles left me a little bit pissed. he even dicked with b-sides!! he couldn't leave anything alone on those.i'm always interested to hear new Ozzy, but i don't get my hopes up anymore. you just know it's gonna be comically de-tuned guitars, auto-tuned, overprocessed vocals and an over the top "prince of darkness" vibe shoe-horned in to fit the desires of the marketing department. i think Sharon is the culprit, to a large degree, for both of my gripes about Ozzy that i just posted. she's turned into his Col. Tom Parker. but, she did save his life. if it wasn't for her, Ozzy would have been dead by now. so, you take the good with the bad, i guess. It was all Sharon, but you almost can't blame her for doing it. The others were suing Ozzy left and right, so she said "Fuck it" and got their parts recorded. If you're a big Ozzy fan, or even a decent fan, I definitely suggest getting his autobiography. It's very, very good.

LightningBolt
I actually might try to see him on this tour. His voice isn't the greatest anymore, sure, but I'd like to be able to say that I've seen Ozzy live. I figure this is getting close to his retirement. plonker88
That picture in the OP, which I'm assuming is fairly recent, is the best Ozzy has looked in years.

I figure this is getting close to his retirement. In one of the links, he says he has no plans to retire any time soon. He has a contract for two more albums after this one.And actually, his voice was pretty damn good when I saw him in 2008, and he was even getting over a cold at the time.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy5fnW5XBgo Edited January 23, 2010 by Black Sabbath
ITW 2012
I'm just glad he's not calling his new album "Soul Sucka" anymore.
bacardimayne
Hopefully Ozzy doesn't have a stroke on stage.
Powerage5
I'll buy the Randy Rhoads DVD, that's it. Randy carried Ozzy through those first 2 solo albums, don't care what anyone else says.

Ozzy's entire music career since Black Sabbath has revolved around the people he surrounds himself with, and when he was getting started with his whole solo thing there was no better guitarist to work with than Randy Rhoads, at least for Ozzy. He probably could have found success with other guys back then, but not the kind of success that would go on to sustain his career. Randy was really something special
