MicEffecT
Despite having a blast at the ACC on November 29, 2002 (I'll always remember that date), I seriously had no desire to attend the 2006 show and still maintain an indifference to Axl's arrival in a few days. I don't have tickets, didn't even know when tickets started selling, and most likely won't be attending unless someone goes through the pain and labour of dragging my ass there, which is highly unlikely given the crowd I generally roll with. I wish I actually knew hardcore Gunners who could hype me up for shit like this, but sadly no.That 2001 or 2002 show was sick. I remember chatting up some hot asian chick wearing a schoolgirl uniform. I wrote a review on the concert and mentioned her in it. She emailed me the next day saying it was her. I didn't believe her, she sent a rather risque pic and a link and password to her porn site. those were the days.
MicEffecT
I get pumped even when they are not playing in my area, just the fact tat they are out on the road kicking ass is enough for me to get excited just so happens however this time its in my country! OH CANADA!!!! Agreed. I love knowing they're alive and well. I remember back at Rio (The re-birth of GNR) they showed the concert on TMN here in Canada. That was pretty cool. I also remember they streamed Rock in Lisbon on AOL. That was cool too. I had the technology by then to hook up my laptop to my big screen. I love this band and will do close to anything if it means supporting them.
Crowebar
I can speak for Toronto fans. When ya live here, there is no rush to get tickets unless it's the lame ass Leafs. It's actually harder to get seats at ACC then it is floors. f that makes sense. Fans will show up at the ACC on the 28th and I'm sure scalpers will be going crazy. Regardless, if Axl shows up, who cares. It'll be a killer show. Axl loves Toronto.I got 3 Golds for Toronto. Pretty fucking nice view from there. Fucking rights it's gonna' rock. This will be my third fucking NEW GNR show I've seen in Toronto. Each time it's better than the last. Fuck yeah. Big party at The Loose Moose before the show. Even Jarmo's supposed to be there. Can't fucking wait man. You're kidding. Jarmo is gonna be in the T Dot? Pretty fuckin' cool. Maybe Axl will be there. I know he was at the Blues club the night before the 2001 show. No, I'm not kidding dude. A shit-load of us, myself and jarmo included, are having a pre-show party at this joint. It's gonna' be cool! I doubt Axl will be there though but, it would be fucking killer insane if he did show up for at least one fucking beer!!! Maybe fucking jarmo could talk Axl into it!?!I can't fucking wait!!!
Jewpanese99
Dj ASHBA™ commented on his status:"Finally got to my room, haven't been to bed yet. . . . and it's cold as shit!! hA! wow!"Does this mean he's already in Winnipeg? It's actually quite warm here for this time of year. Two mare days!

I guess I'm gonna show up what time you guys startin' the pre-show party and how far is it from the ACC. I will be downtown around 1-2pm so I got time to kill and what better way then to hang with some true fans.
MicEffecT
Anyone wanna guess at a timeline of events at the Toronto show? It starts at 8pm. I assume Danko Jones will play 20-30 minutes. Bach atleast 45 mins. Now we're looking at 9:15 roughly for set change. I wouldn't expect Axl to hit the stage before 10:30pm. In 2002 they were well over an hour late as well. I didn't go to the 2006 show so if anyone can fill me in. It's appreciated.
Gunner55
I'm guessing Danko will play for roughly half an hour. Baz will have a longer than 45 minute set. Last time I think he was pushing an hour and a half...

Gunner55
I'm just going off of what happened when GNR played in 06 at the show I was at. But this still sounds reasonable

This place will most likely be blasting GNR tunes for most of the day/night. It's a pretty casual/comfortable place to hang. If I was you, I'd just head to the Loose Moose, as soon as you get downtown and proceed to chill-out with like-minded fans. The ACC's not too far from there. Probably a 15-20 minute walk, depending on how fast you can walk. If it's too cold out, you can walk through the above-ground tunnel right to the ACC. So, there you go man. See you there. Here's the HTGTH link.http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=57883.0I'm really looking forward to this!!! B) It's gonna' be a fucking cool pre-show party!!! Oh, almost forgot. In 2006, GNR started playing around midnight if my memory serves me well. Don't go by that though. He could go on anytime he wants. rock1  Edited January 12, 2010 by Crowebar
plonker88
Guns have been starting pretty close to their actual start time so don't go there thinking they wont hit the stage until 12 cause they may well be half way through by then. peterboroguycanada
If I lived in Toronto, I would buy bluesy's ass a ticket.LOL, thanks. Seriously, if I had someone to go with, I would, but no one gives a shit about GNR in my world and I have no desire to sit it out by myself.wow i go to all the concerts myself,I don't care if any of my friends or wife are into it,the fact is i am and i love my concerts,I will be heading down there myself and meeting Sebastian Bach's brothers before the concert but after that i am solo,I must have been to 50 show's in the past few yr;s and i went along to everyone.I just rock out in my own world enjoying the moment and letting loose..But hey that's just me. So I'm going to go ahead and say "no".
