But he didn't.And I have to say that it saddens me that Axl thinks the sources are "fake." The security manager is very real and I have his name and phone number if he's interested in following up. Also, our forum members who witnessed this firsthand had no reason to lie. Axl can talk to them as well if he doubts they exist. Revolver - glad you had a great time. I would have thought that Axl - of all people - would be interested in knowing the truth about people and situations - especially when it involves someone who has supported him and his music from day one - rather than listening to people who are giving him bad information on what really happened. We met with him and I shook his hand and introduced me as Eli from Iceland and he was like “oh yeah, you’re the one from Iceland” and he even said “yeah man, I know who he is” later on when Bumble came in and re-introduced me.Axl was telling these stories.. it was very surreal and he was talking about how he had just read the negative things being said about the band and he was pissed about the whole “Can’t wear Slash-outfits”-bullshit.My memory ain’t perfect but this is the what I remember him saying about that whole thing:“See, with the show we have now, there is pretty much nothing negative left to say, so people have to start making shit up instead! Like that thing about people not being allowed entrance to the show if they’re wearing some Slash outfits and stuff… and those fake sources and everything, I just read about it yesterday and I’m like “where does this come from?” …. I’ll tell you where it’s from, Rock in Rio 2001, that’s where it’s from! Because this guy I threw out happened to be wearing a Slash shirt! But he was going like “fuck you Axl” --*Axl impersonates the retard (by the looks of it) giving him the finger*-- so I was just “get this guy out of here!” and for whatever the reason, can’t recall, I asked them to hand me his shirt… and that’s why people are making up this shit today!”He talked some more and we had loads of fun afterwards and Beta hugged me saying “I’m so glad you’ve had fun” –Again, people shut the fuck up about Axl’s family, they could not be nicer!Great story!!
