We've heard about the "Axl rhymes with asshole" and "This is the best show on the tour" lines, but how about the rest of the time, did Axl (or anyone else in the band) say much to the crowd, it would be nice of one of the other guys got to say something for a change I guess...Somewhat off topic, but Richard and Axl were chatting back and forth in Toronto about Axl's antics the night before... I've never heard the guy speak before! Tommy always seemed to be the vocal one... was cool.Kaneda - glad you had fun. Because it 100% categorically did not happen, that's why. Don't believe it? I cant make you believe it, but I know for a fact that it did not happen, it is not true and it has been repeated time and time again by many. I happen to know first hand...You can throw all your "Velvetgirl", "party passes", "being bought by the band", "why dont I leave and go to another forum" in right now go ahead, it does not change the truth, the truth is the truth, it does not waiver, it does not change. I am a regular user, never been a mod, didn't have to be to see that the change in this user happened a VERY long time ago, why? I do not have the answer, the person needs to give them selves a good look in the mirror and answer that themselves.I have made many mistakes here over the years what makes that different is I am willing to say that to myself and more importantly to all of you.I did not want to comment, not cause anyone told me not to(they didn't) but because truth be told, I do feel bad in a way, this person and I did share what I believed to be many good times, personal times even over the years I have been here, I feel sad it had to go this way, that is the truth, 100%, but I saw it coming to this, you had to be blind not too, I wish things didn't change I wish they could have stayed the way they were just not a few years ago. It's amazing that some people think that being jealous somehow gives them power.the fact the Axl and the rest of GNR are getting closer to fans is great. Of course all the fans want to meet Axl, but it seems like the ones who do are the ones that can relate to them on a normal level. A few on this forum have legitimate connections and have have met the band members.......not becuase they are die-hard fanatical gunners, but becuase they have forged relationship with others over time. NOT in just the good times, but in all times.Congrats on your rare opportunity. Mine is coming. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but sometime. I'm friends with these guys because they are great people, doing something incredibly amazing with their lives. It must have been pretty fuckin' chill to get to meet one of your idols after all these years.
