Hanoi Rocks Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 www.michaelmonroe.comOk, Hanoi Rocks has come to end of it´s road. But the singer Mike Monroe is fully active with his solo career. They are doing shows in Kalifornia in march for example. Those who dont know, Mike and Axl has their great own history, Hanoi was big influence to GnR and they have sang together, doing musicvideos together and mike sang on "aint it fun" etc. etc.His band has great names and musicians as well:- Sami Yaffa ( Ex Hanoi Rocks, New york Dolls bass player)- Ginger (Ex-Wildhearts, Ex-Brides of destruction guitarist)- Todd Youth (Ex- Murphy´s law, Ex-Danzig guitarist)- Jimmy Clark (Ex-Demolition 23 guitarist (featuring Nasty Suicide, Sami Yaffa, and Mike Monroe from Hanoi Rocks)Mike´s band will play all the greatest Hanoi Hits, Demolition 23 songs and his old and new solo stuff, sounds great, doesnt it. I think it would be kickass opener for GnR at the european tour, Your thoughts? Here is one tune from mike for you:
jekylhyde Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 that would be sweet...michael monroe is very energetic live. it would be perfect...saw hanoi rocks in 2002, and micheal doing a couple of songs with loaded last summer.
Guest Satanisk_Slakt Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Baz is the best opener for Guns.Agreed.
Budweiser Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I read this as "Michael Moore" should open for GNR -- NOOOOOOOOO
Wando Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 The topic provoked a thought in my head, which a few years ago I didn't beleive is possible... I feel like Mike Monroe has more artistic inegrity left than Axl.
ITW 2012 Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 They could use somebody who will help them sell some tickets. I think they should use Liam Gallagher's new band for the Euro tour.
