i'm just hoping Axl doesnt feel obligated to make the video for Better or CD.

Sure anything would be awesome but IMO i would rather have other songs on CD get a video.

CD's pretty obvious what it would be about. Better could be anything.

I'd much rather have a song like TWAT for a video because throughout the song Axls giving us more visual details "cocaine in the hall" etc

TWAT definitely gives me cinematic visuals but not sure if it's simplistic enough sonically for mainstream. Maybe over time it will become so familiar that it will be like Paradise City.

A couple of years ago, it was like 3 am, and I couldn't go to sleep, and I was listening to my mp3 player, and when it was called "The Blues", I just got this super clear and intense vision of what the video should be. It involved a man and woman, they have a fight, he takes off to the airport to fly somewhere to start over, and in the airport, we see clips of the band sitting around performing in some sort of jazz/piano lounge-type place in the airport, and see the man sitting at the bar, drinking. Then he flies somewhere, and when he arrives, he meets a woman, and we see clips of them having drinks, walking downtown, walking past Axl and some of the guys, in different flashes. They end up making love, and afterwards, he sees his wallet open on the table while the girls off taking a shower, and in the wallet is a picture of his girlfriend/wife/whatever, and he sees all these memories (this is during the guitar solo), so he leaves while she's in the shower, and flies back, Guns are passengers on the plane, Tommy's sleeping, Richard's writing, Ron's listening to headphones, and Axl's reading a magazine, but keeps kinda peeking up and looking at the guy, maybe recognizing him from the bar. When he gets off the plane, there she is waiting for him, they run and hug (this is while Axl's wailing after "all in memories"). We see them walking off together, they get in a taxi and pull off, and right behind the taxi pulls up a limo, and Axl is the last to get in, gazing at the taxi pulling off. Or something like that...

Haha, I like this idea alot. Unlke most ideas in this thread, I can actually picture this one very clearly. If there ever was such a thing as a GNR style video, this fits likes a glove.
