It's also slander, although I'm not sure what the laws would be for that in Brazil.I obviously don't know these promoters/club owners, but I highly doubt a business person would do that. It would be an idiotic move and the negatives that could happen (riots,bad press, losing credibility,etc) significantly outweigh any positive "buzz" you could get for your place that one night. Is being reported that Axl's an asshole, that he was stunned and in the hospital....You do know that even if Axl himself goes to each and everyone of those douche's doors and apologizes and explaines why the fuck he didn't show, they are still gonna say he's a stoned asshole, right? It was gonna happen, but for some reason it didn't.My bets are:1- earlier yesterday, it was reported that the band cancelled the gig cause the press got a hold of the place it was happening in, so they were afraid that some riot was gonna happen or something. Maybe that actually happened but the douches invited were not warned, or simply chose to ignore it.2- Axl actually got a sore throat. That would also explain why the setlist wednesday was shorter. It's completely possible. I have a sore throat cause Rio is hot as hell, then I get in my uncle's house in the air condicioning - cold, then I get out in the hot motherfucking sun again... that can't be good. I wouldn't get your hopes up for an explanation either, if any of this was true they'll (GNR camp) just act like it never happened (Hello Philadelphia 2002). They ignored Axl used to like Nirvana, so go figure. It seems Mion owns the private gig venue. Cool, huh?!Pitty - singer wannabe: Publicly criticized Axl for using an oxygen tent. She saw him during Rock in Rio Lisboa and had no clue Axl and many other rock singers used an oxygen tent back in late 80s/early 90s (Bruce, anyone?).
