I'm not a big fan of his appearance (with all make up, the hairstyle etc.) but he seems like a really nice guy, coming to this forum to write every now and then.Pretty much word for word this. DJ himself I am sure has great respect for Slash as well, he is not trying to replace him more like trying to do him justice. We are the only ones fighting this whos better battle, this is the band now no matter what our opinions are. He plays very well and with feeling and IMO has just what they needed sound-wise. Add to that his stage presence, his charisma, his on stage fun (he dances around a lot and does crazy stuff like you guys see in the photos posted and in many youtube videos) and he ends up stealing the show! Those who already saw a concert from this tour had the chance to see with their own eyes a guy that really plays to the crowd, no bullshit. You can't deny how much fun he's having, and how passionate he is for playing.Here's DJ playing right in front of me in Brasilia, Brazil: I had the pleasure to meet him backstage in my hometown (Belo Horizonte) and even though I couldn't talk much to him (place was crowded) he was very attentious and humble, gave me a great impression! I saw 4 Guns concerts here in Brazil and all I can say is that in each of them I fell in love more and more for DJ Ashba.
