Obviously, this is a huge question, but I'm interested in the results.

I love New York and all, but its definitely between the South and West Coast. I think B.I.G. is really overrated while I love 2Pac. West only means G-Funk to me though, and I like more and a greater variety of southern rappers and groups. I'm talking T.I., Clipse, Wayne, Outkast, etc. So that's my choice.

i respect the west & the south for picking up the slack when the east was sleepwalking, but, historically, new york (philly, too, to a lesser extent) dominates my listening habits.

top 10 is, like, 5 or 6 ny rappers, black thought, andre 3k and nobody from the west.

I always was and I always will be a Westcoast fan. From NWA over the G-Funk era with "The Chronicle" to Snoop solo and 2Pac / Death Row Records, that was the greatest time and place for rap. It all went downhill from there on, imo.

East for skills, West for party beats, South for being barked at indiscriminately for 40 mins per albums j/k, they got some cool shit too and lots of it but Jesus did it take some finding..
