Towelie
I love rock music, my favourite bands are GNR, STP, RHCP, Nirvana, Foos and VR. I recently tried getting into some older rock bands (namely Led Zeppelin and AC/DC) but it didn't really do anything for me. Can any of you guys recommend some older rock bands for me to try? I would appreciate any song/album titles to look up.

Jumpin' Jack Flash
You want to get into dadrock?Okay..All of Led Zeppelin's albums...No exception, they're all fucking brilliant.I'd normally tell you to get all of AC/DC's albums, but that may be a bit overwhelming. So, just get from Let There Be Rock to For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)Get Black Sabbath's debut, and Paranoid. The Ramone's first four albums.Moving Pictures by RushWho's Next by The Who

ChineseDemocracy2004
Check out Boston's self titled debut albuum from 1976. I think it's one of the greatest albums ever made. Also check out Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare album and maybe Derek and the Dominoes album Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs. plonker88
Give Zeppelin some time, it took me a while to click with them but when I did it honestly blew my mind. I find it hard to listen to modern rock music without hearing Zeppelin in it.
