Does Anyone Here Like Glam Metal?

The title pretty much states my question. I was just wondering if anyone here likes glam metal. All my friends hate it and my parents think I'm crazy for liking it, but it's my favorite kind of music! I just LOVE bands like Poison, Motley Crue, and Cinderella. B) So any other glam metal fans here?

I voted "Occasionally". I like some of Mötley Crües albums. I like Skid Rows second album and about three or maybe four songs on their first. Other than that... No. I can't think of any at least.

Skid Row's debut is definitely Glam-ish. They changed their style after that album, though.

Okay, I agree. Slave to the Grind is heavy Metal, but their first album isn't.

Thats not to say I don't enjoy the odd Crue song, but overall, I've pretty much over that type of music.

The only Glam Metal band I like is Motley Crue (their older stuff). Besides Crue, I hate Glam, or at least most of it.

I Love bands like Motley Crue, Dirty Penny and Skid Row.... But I fucking hate bands like Poison and Bon Jovi.

Izzys Gurl: You should check out Dirty Penny. They're actually a new band, but they sound like Motley Crue, Aerosmith, and Vains Of Jenna thrown together, and it sounds good...

Voted occasionally. Most of it is pretty much shit, but like always there's some exceptions... The term itself is a problem because all the bands/albums/songs could as easily be called something else, like for example Cinderella's Heartbreak Station is not glammy at all but pretty straightforward hard rock (and very good) while early Cinderella is shitty pop metal.

Their first two albums are both exceptions. I don't mind the production on Dr. Feelgood either.

i like it, I suppose...for me it's best in small doses. A little taste here, a little taste there. LA Guns and the Crue are two of my favorites

You probably won't like it either, but Too Fast For Love is their best album. If you do happen to like that at all (I doubt you would), then Shout At The Devil ain't bad either.

Agreed. Although there are a few good songs on Theatre of Pain, Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood. But with just very few exceptions those three album sucked. Not to mention the other albums they've released, whom don't have one single song which are over mediocre.
