Found some good vinyl

Hi guys,

I was fortunate to find a record store that had the original vinyl cover (rape). I may try to get pics of it on here in the future to make sure it's legit as I've heard they've created knock offs of this.

My question is about the Patience vinyl single. It's 12" and has Rocket Queen and the interview with Axl Rose. Does anyone know if this is a rare find? I've looked on multiple sites and I see either super low value or high value so there's gotta be some version of it that's hard to find.

I was thinking about picking it up but I don't know if it's common or very rare. If you guys would like to see a picture of it online to see what I'm talking about I'll post a link but I'm not sure what this site's policy is with linking to auctions.

Oh boy I'm a dummy. I just looked up it's value and it's around $52 with sticker and this copy has the original sticker. I need to get there asap and get it.

I'm trying to figure out which version of "rape" I have.

I'm pretty sure it's a German copy as it was made in Germany and has the "Specialed Limited Edition Containing Sheet of Japanese Peel-Off Stickers" stirkcer on front.

The back of it looks like this:

This isn't a reissue is it?

It has the sticker on front stating there are stickers but they are not with it which I know affects value quite a bit.

Did they reissue them with the actual message that states there are Japanese stickers inside?

Pretty sure they never have

I would assume someone just used the stickers

look's like you have an original without the sheet of stickers

Thanks TAY. I'm guessing the German pressings are much more abundant or is this still a hard find?

Either way I'm just happy to have it. I recently got into vinyl and I just get a thrill finding good records. I got a couple record stores that have me on file incase Use Your Illusion 1&2 (vinyl) ever come in.

I went back to the record store that had the Patience single and they sold it already . Next time I know not to wait a day. I'm kicking myself in the butt over this as it still had the original temporary tattoo!

Got Use your Illusion 2 on vinyl for $50. Seems like an average deal. It's in near mint shape.

Looked at a few auction history sites and I saw sealed copies going for $130 and non-sealed for 50-90 so really depends on market it seems.

Stickers? I never new this. What sort of stickers?
