coolio GNR
Rush and Roger Waters"The Wall" are coming on the same week. I can only go to one because of high priced tickets and how far I live from the event. So which one should I go to?

Moving Pictures!I haven't listened to Moving Pictures in a very long time. I really do enjoy their live album Exit Stage Left. I think both groups could end up in England next summer or something but hopefully not at the same time.I'm looking forward to Rush's new single Caravan or their new song Caravan. Moving Pictures! It boils down to what you're more interested in I guess.Side one (first 4 songs) of Moving Pictures is standard Rush live fare (and will continue to be)...Witch Hunt was done last tour.If had to choose between the opportunity to see Rush perform The Camera Eye and Vital Signs over the full Wall production,it's a rather easy decision for me.Besides...still not so sure I won't go see Rush as well. DirtyDeeds
Fair enough. Honestly I would choose the Wall over Rush, too, but I do love Moving Pictures and it sounds like it will be a great show.Hopefully I can see both. Hopefully I can see ONE of them lol. I hope I can at least see the Wall. I'm not worried about getting close seats or not, though. With Pink Floyd it always seemed to me that the best seats were probably the ones halfway back. But $250 seems outrageous for Roger Waters solo. Rush really puts on a hell of a show for roughly $80.

But $250 seems outrageous for Roger Waters solo. Rush really puts on a hell of a show for roughly $80.250 bucks is the top seat range...tickets start at $55 (US)I saw Roger's Dark Side of the Moon tour twice, and by no means did I have what was considered to be great seats. But Deeds is right...the best seats in the house really start around the half way point. That's where you begin to really absorb the full spectacle.I've seen Rush live many many times and it's a great show...but Roger's DSOTM tour was unlike anything I've ever seen. It's a spectacle on a scale I'd never experienced before...and the Wall will hands down top it.Every seat in the venue was a decent location...that's how amazing Roger's live shows are. KetchupNotMayo
Roger Waters. You shouldn't even be questioning this man, it's THE WALL, presented LIVE exactly as it was 30 years ago, by ROGER WATERS!!

Snake Eyes
I hope he brings the wall over to the uk.. hope it's not too expensive. I'm missing out on McCartney cos tickets are £70ish.. and it kills me to miss it, his latest live album from new york was spectacular.
