Bumblefoot Twitter:

I've seen a lot of good video posted on YouTube from the tours, thanks to all...! Have a favor to ask - anyone have original HQ footage they can send me? If so, THANK YOU, please upload it (sendspace, megaupload, yousendit, etc...) and email a download link to info@bumblefoot.com - thanks a lot!
DOH! I should add... I watch YouTube vids in HD, download 'em using DownloadHelper for Firefox, but they're all MP4 or FLV and still pretty compressed. I'm keepin' an eye out for any vids people shot where the original was AVI or full NTSC/PAL resolution, if there's any out there... live vids from the recent touring, thanks! :D

Guns N' Roses Twitter:

Didn't the band pro shoot all of the shows? You would think he could ask Axl for one.

Perhaps, yes but he is wanting from the crowd video in HD, they do exist

This is just dumb.

Why? They may have some of their own already but he wants some from the fans too...

BBF has always said that he likes this sort of stuff for his personal archives... sometimes audience shot stuff is cooler to watch than pro-shot stuff too.

This is just dumb.

Another brilliant contribution.

Any chance this is for an band produced video of Better? I'm not too sure about this, but I remember reading that the video for Better was a compilation of live footage from different tours, so this doesn't seem to impossible...

If it was for that, they'd use official pro-shot footage, not audience-shot bootlegs.

What about the stuff from the Rose Bar? That's the highest quality stuff I've seen online.

When I was on the floor in Toronto I noticed security was really quick to jump on anyone who had their cameras out. Maybe they should rethink the camera policy if they want HD vids shot by the fans.

If you have seen NIN live dvds, they often have cuts from the audience perspective as well.

Brings a whole new intensity to the experience.

NIN gave the audience cameras at one point to capture stuff. Beastie Boys did the same and made some sort of live show compilation. Think outside the box.

Although, if any footage was used a waiver would likely be signed by anyone contributing.

Ritchie Blackmore (guitarist Deep Purple, Rainbow, Blackmore's Night) once said something like: "People send me all this stuff they have of me, rare videos, audio, album covers...I never knew what to do with them...maybe wank to them in my own self-worship altar?".

i talked to security in moncton and they were specifically told no cameras, yet bumble is asking for HD crowd shot. its pretty obvious bumble wouldn't care about cameras, actually it seems he encourages it. unfortunately the man doesn't feel the same way.

I was standing practically under the man in Brasilia and in Rio. In fact, the man stared right into my camera a couple of times and didn't even care. Security outside, on the other hand, were total assholes. Security inside took pics for you if you handed them the camera.

Don't know what went on in Canada, but in Brazil it seemed the no camera thing did not come from the band

Honestly I think they (security) know Axl's history and just don't want shit going down if you are caught. Maybe Axl cares, maybe he doesn't, but they aren't going to take any chances. I actually have a picture I took in 06 in Everett where you can actually see Axl looking into my camera, nothing happened.
