SunnyDRE Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) I gotta admit I'm not even a big fan of this guy; I've liked some of his singles here or there, bumped some in my car, and maybe even danced to a couple of them when out on the town; But I never liked him enough to go out my way to buy an album or download any of his songs. That was until Raymond v. Raymond. I listen to the radio a lot (more than I watch TV), and his singles from this album are all over it. At first I didn't really give them much notice, but the more I listen and paid attention, I found that I kinda like them.So a couple of days ago, I went out and bought the album, and I must say..I was blown away. Definitely the best album I've heard all year.Reminds me of Thriller, simply because there truly is something for everybody....and truly no filler. Songs you can bang in the club, songs you play when you just want to chill with your girl, and songs you can put on blast when you're just cruising the freeway.Anyone else digging this album or Usher right now?Best Tacks:Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)Lil FreakOMGThere Goes My BabyGuiltyFoolin Around..Really the whole album is all killer. &player_feature=embed &player_feature=embed Edited July 29, 2010 by SunnyDRE Quote
Guest deleted_19765 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I love "Papers" and "OMG" is good, but I haven't heard the album. Maybe I will try to do that now. Quote
SunnyDRE Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) I love "Papers" and "OMG" is good, but I haven't heard the album. Maybe I will try to do that now.My only problem with the album is OMG is clearly a rip of a old So So Def All-stars song, by INOJ.I like the song, don't get me wrong...but I know this where Usher got some of the beat and lyrics from. as he is repped by Jermaine Dupri; and Dupri produced the So So Def All-star's albums, back in the 90's.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qRvh46iyj0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qRvh46iyj0&player_feature=embed Edited July 29, 2010 by SunnyDRE Quote
