Towelie
Can anyone recommend me some songs to check out?
Tater Totts
Check out Rated R and Songs for the Deaf
Axl Knows
Shit band. Their set at reading was the most boring thing I've ever seen.
Use Your Delusion 1
Shit band. Their set at reading was the most boring thing I've ever seen.
bt88
QOTSA absolutely has some good stuff. Songs From The Deaf is great, Dave Grohl does the drumming on it. Lullabies To Paralyze is good and Era Vulgaris is just ok. The band was much better with Nick Oliveri, he left after Songs From The Deaf. Songs From The Deaf is the best of what that band did well. Absolutely 100% worth a a listen
chevelle
As said before, listen to Rated R and Songs for the Deaf. The last two albums have been spotty, but those two are classic.
Quix
I heard that they're hard to get into, but after you do their music gets addictive.
Estranged Reality
Shit band. Their set at reading was the most boring thing I've ever seen. Rated R and Songs for the Deaf are their widely-accepted best albums, but I think Lullabies is the best. They're one of the better and more consistent rock bands out there today. Axl Knows
Their set at Reading was still the most boring thing I've ever seen. Josh Homme can't sing for shit and the riffs are all generic and samey as hell.
The Sandman
It was quite repetitive, but wasn't bad. I didn't like the "I'm so drunk and high right now" line he kept on using. But, they exude energy!
KBear
I don't know that many of their songs, but No One Knows is cool.
SunnyDRE
Personally, I think they are extremely overrated.R is a good listen, one time. Like that movie you liked at the theater, but you would never rent it. Songs for the Deaf, has one good song, "No one knows", and it isn't even that great.I want to like this band, but I just can't. This to me is the epitome of the band people say, "if you want to be cool, you should like this...".Own three of their albums (trying to be cool), and nothing I have heard has moved me.Maybe it will be diferrent for you. chevelle
I want to like this band, but I just can't. This to me is the epitome of the band people say, "if you want to be cool, you should like this...".I think that was true about 8 years ago, when Songs for the Deaf first came out, but not anymore. They're not exactly famous, but their nobody's little hipster secret anymore.
Ghostie
I've always respected this tune, but not clear on the rest...
AbominableHoman
Among those already mentioned, Make It Whit Chu is a classic.
