Jumpin' Jack Flash
How could I have forgotten THE FOO FIGHTERS And all hair metal bands. Ever. Period. Every single one of them. Bruce Springsteen is annoying as fuck too.

chevelle
I don't get how you could not like Foo Fighters...at least their earlier stuff. Songs like Everlong and February Stars are pretty amazing, and the acoustic half of In Your Honor is full of some good cuts, too.Anyway, I don't hate most of these bands, but I really can't get into most of them. The first few are the ones I absolutely loathe, though.Nickelback...overaffected, trite bullshit.Any band like Brokencyde or Attack! Attack!...it's metal for ravers with ADD. Absolutely loathsome stuff.Newer "country" that sounds like pop with a few twangs in it. That, and the fact that most of them have VERY similar voices. The rest, I just don't really like, but don't hate.Kings of LeonGreen Day (Some of it's pretty good though)Most 50s/60s/70s/80s pop...could never get into it. Probably the cheese factor.Post-grungeOasisRage Against the MachineBlack SabbathAerosmithArcade Fire (Sorry, but they're not the band of this generation. no way.) bacardimayne
Radiohead (well, OK Computer is a good album but it's mainly their pretentious "I am better than you and my music is too fuckin' deep for u" fans I hate)MetallicaSystem of a Down (love Serj's solo work though)The Rolling StonesMost hair metal/glam rock (KISS, Poison, Crue, etc)Metalcore bands in general (All That Remains, Rise Against, etc)Not really bands but rappers whose music is really plain and beepy like Soulja Boy and that Dougie song. I would assume if someone is posting on a GNR board they wouldn't list them as a band you can't get into, even if you were just into them in the past. It was a question for stevGNR666, it wasn't directed at you. I'm not judging them, I was only curious. And I'd also like to point out GNR is IN their board name...you don't usually make names for bands you aren't into

At one point in my life - six years ago, gn'r opened many musical doors - most of it was classic rock juggernaut Led Zeppelin to which Guns N' Roses owes a lot of credit in its indulgences, its grandiosity, and its general attitude. Little by little Led Zeppelin's sound eroded the appeal of gn'r. Eventually Led Zeppelin's appeal would erode but that would take years. This forum, however, I kept coming back to for the rotating cast of characters to which I felt a kinship and nostalgia. I even found a couple friends, which I kept in contact with, even though I rarely posted. My name - what can I say? I'm too lazy to change it.
