I have no idea what that site is, but antimusic ran with the story. If it proves anything, it's that websites and magazines will print any little story with even a minor mention of GN'R. kyrie
Should have been U2.Did U2 make the news that much this year? I thought they took some time off or something, or nixxed some shows because someone was hurt/sick...I wouldn't mind seeing U2 live if the tickets weren't insanely expensive Edited December 31, 2010 by kyrie

Black Sabbath
Should have been U2.U2 actually wasn't that big in the News this year. Guns N' Roses were obviously larger in that aspect this year. Trust me.

matthewlang
Also a GNR mention on Planet Rock's End of Year Poll:ROCK FEUD OF THE YEARWINNER: AXL ROSE VS THE GENERAL PUBLICEither someone simply wasn't telling Axl Rose what audiences thought or he was showing them utter contempt by turning up for shows, on average, more than 40 minutes late. The Reading Festival incident was pretty spectacular as the plug was pulled after curfew was broken. The sight of Guns N Roses refusing to leave the stage was pretty depressing and this was followed by another pretty low point in Dublin when a bottle was thrown at the stage and the band walked off for forty minutes. By the time they came back a hefty percentage of the audience had already left. Here's an idea, Axl – turn up on time and people won't get frustrated and chuck stuff on the stage. Turn up on time and maybe everyone will be able to stay until the end. Hell, turn up on time because it's the decent thing to do.http://www.planetroc...4037&spid=16339 Edited January 4, 2011 by pobin123

Trust me.The Spider-Man Broadway show has received a lot of, mostly negative, attention. Bono and The Edge did the music. Pretty big if you ask me. I mean it's Spider-Man!I thought U2 were a Batman band...
