Guest Sleeping Like An Angel
After seeing both used as the intro song live, I think Jungle is more exciting and more suited to being the opener. Having said that I think its cool they used CD on this tour seeing as its the CD tour (well the tour after CD is released). Anyway bring back Jungle. Its much exciting. I love when the crowd are singing along and screaming so much your struggling to hear the band play it.

CoBrA2168
Wttj and Chinese are both awesome openers, but I'd have to go with Chinese. It's long intro is great to get you pumped up for the show. Plus it's from the latest album by the new band, so I think it's an obvious choice.

Plus, Jungle is awesome, too, and you get that right afterward, so, double awesome!!!
ITW 2012
I'm shocked that anybody actually voted for Chinese Democracy. Welcome to the Jungle is probably the best intro song of all time. Hopefully CD will be dropped from the setlist on the next tour. It's an average album track that should never been released as a single. Edited January 24, 2011 by ITW 2012
ITW 2012
I didn't think Chinese Democracy was all that popular. The Blues and Madagascar were the songs people talked about back in 02 when they started consistently playing those three tracks live. CD is the song that I always hoped wouldn't make the album. Dead Flower
Nothing can match WTTJ. But I think it's cool that Axl took a risk and now opens with a new song. Always been a fan of the title track - best rocker on the album by some distance.
GnRMatt
I prefer CD as the opener, would love jungle to be saved for the encore.
bacardimayne
Jungle is the best opener, no doubt about it, but the opening slot is the only place CD can sound right, so it needs to stay there.
The Matinator
I've never been particularly happy with the placement of jungle in any setlist throughout GN'R history. I've always wished they would make it the opening of the encore.
Liquor & Whores
It was Jungle for years and since 2001 I dreamed that they would finally choose ChD instead. And that was a very good choice, especially that Jungle follows right afterwards.Perfect ! trqster
Nothing beats a great classic like Jungle, but CD was a proper opener choice for the errr....CD tour.

Calcy
'The General'(or 2006 tour intro if it isnt that) intro into WTTJ is the best opener ive ever seen. So much energy. CD was appropriate for the CD tour however, but pales in comparison to Jungle in general.Nightrain worked really well for the original line-up, but the new line-ups version is so cool for just before the encore.
