Vincent Vega
I kind of wonder how the Stones would sound if the lineup looked like:Mick- VocalsMick Taylor - Lead and Rhythm guitarKeith Richards- Rhythm and Lead GuitarRon Wood- Rhythm GuitarDarryl Jones- Bass GuitarCharlie - Drums
ITW 2012
They should just kick Ronnie to the curb and bring back Mick Taylor.
wasted
If they got 3 guitarists they could cover Jungle.
Spoon87
They should hire Buckethead.
wasted
Jagger must be under pressure to top CD. Bridges was a good record but doesn't the scope or epicness of CD.
Powerage5
In all seriousness it could be interesting, though they have no real reason to do it.
dalsh327
I'd like to see Bill Wyman rejoin them and keep Darryl Jones on. If they said the tickets were 500 dollars, were doing Exile from beginning to end, and it was in a stadium, it would still sell out. I know the Exile rerecordings had Mick Taylor come back, but they never said if Bill Wyman contributed or he was just on the demos because they made a big deal out of Taylor recording with them. Ron Wood's still in the band, that was something people weren't sure about, because there were rumors of him being part of the Faces reunion tour (lead singer of Simply Red is doing it) or working with Rod Stewart, plus he had gone to rehab and didn't take part in the Exile promotion. Johnny Depp's a guitarist, for all we know he'll be showing up, too.
wasted
It would be fucked up if they got keanu reeves for the nirvana reunion.
mrandyk
No band should have 3 guitarists unless they are some kind of heavy metal band, shut the fuck up and quit making threads.

On the subject I say no, seems unnecessary. What bands actually have three guitarists outside of GN'R? And even for them it is really a bad idea in so many ways. GN'R also doesn't need two keyboardists but they have one anyway. The Stones it could work for. Imagine Woody + Keith + Mick Taylor (who imo is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time). moreblack
I don't think it's necessary, and it would most likely disturb the band chemistry.

The harmonies on the albums since Brave New World have been amazing, the old songs have a whole new dimension, and it allows for some songs to be played live closer to the original (Revelations is the big one here). Zint
I remember seeing Ted Nugent's "Guitar Army" live.Complete overkill...I mean,do you really need anyone else up there with Ted? Keef and Ronnie feeding off each other...'tis just fine.

It's amazing.
