Free would be too much. He should be paying people to get that piece of shit.

Not another vs thread please? This is the GNR section of the forum:slash has no part in this, and if you like the music and it pulls you in,why does it matter how popular it is or how much it costs to purchase a, copy?

CD has been out long enough for all the fans and casual fans to pick up a copy.

GNR haven't toured the US and haven't done any kind of promotion for the album, or the band, so far, so they're hardly going to pull in any new fans.

The only way to get people to buy it is by thinking "fucking hell 1.99 I'll buy it someone I don't like for Christmas/Birthday/etc..."

So that's why it's $1.99.

Slash's album is much newer and he has been out their promoting and touring. So I'm guessing best buy can still shift the CD as he's still visible publicly. I'm sure when slash has done the touring and promo and is back chilling at home BB will start to reduce his album too. It's the natural cycle for established acts.

If GNR ever release a new album CD might just go up a few dollars in price. Especially if they start a US tour and any kind of promotion.
