AbominableHoman Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I want to be able to name drop some sweet bands. Like if I'm conversing outside the mini-theater of my community college with a bunch of randos, and someone asks me "what bands are you into?", I want to be able to tell them bands that will make them think Yeah, he's cool -- he gets it!. Nothing to do with Jeff Tweedy or Radiohead, please. Also, bands consisting of no more than three members. They also should have a real organic sound; with a band name that isn't literal and doesn't start with "The". They should have zero connections to sell-outs and Bono. Quote

SunnyDRE Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Just say you like Bad Brains and King's X; People that try to be cool have heard of 'em, but no one actually listens to their music. You can make up song names and no one will even know. Edited April 11, 2011 by SunnyDRE Quote

They used a drum machine. He was real good. My linkAbsolutely fabulous fantastic abrasive fucking nasty amazing music, i love love LOVE Big Black and indeed most things that Mr Albini has touched.
