Metal Injection conducted an interview with GUNS N' ROSES/SIXX: A.M. guitarist DJ Ashba on the "black carpet" of the third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which was held on April 20 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California. You can now watch the chat below.

When asked if fans can ever expect any touring from GUNS N' ROSES, Ashba said, "We just booked Rock In Rio [in Brazil] for October 2, but there's talk.... We're gonna be going out way sooner. And hopefully we're gonna be [doing some dates] here in the States this year. I'm hoping. That's the plan."

Well when does Richard stop touring with Thin lizzy? is it july time? And BBF said he isnt doing a full record due to not having the time with possible tours and such. I think we'll see a warmup thing before Rio in the states, maybe like Hammerstein again? maybe more dates this time around? who knows. Sounds good though.

As someone pointed out this may not be a full blown tour.

No doubt they'd like to do something and hopefully they will.

San Fran, NYC, Chicago, LA, Vegas -- those are the markets they should hit if they aren't planning a full-blown US trek.

Why would they hit San Francisco if they only do 5 markets? Boston would be a MUCH more logical choice, IMO.

In 2006, both Warfield dates were sold out and not to mention the lines for the shows went for blocks! Also, the 2006 Oakland show I believe was either a sell-out or damn near close.

not to mention, I live here, so there's that!

Yeah, the same old words/phrases being tossed around again. "Hopefully", "I'm hoping", "there's talk". I'll believe it when I see it.

I think when we heard those words before, there really was things being planned but in the end fell through. Do we want a heads up or do we want to wait until something is solid before we get the information?

A few club shows would go a long way.

Yeah just ask Slash

That is a good idea. At least we can get an answer from him.

To my knowledge, the last we heard those words was when Tommy, Ron and DJ were asked about playing Rock In Rio this year..and that's now been confirmed and annunced, so....
