bangit Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Yes this pretty much does confirm it! Nice to see the guys on the road again! Hope they pull some warm up shows b4 Rio. It wud be great to have a pro shot of Axl on top form like he his during tours after a warm up. It does take a good few shows to get his voice to top draw brilliance these days! Good news though!
Chewbacca Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 God... I wonder if this means that gears are finally moving again....
GNR123GNR456 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 God... I wonder if this means that gears are finally moving again....We can only hope that more dates mean we might something else other than a few new song's at Rio.
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 The tweet doesn't really dispute anything other than the decision to give Fernando Guns N' Roses' password.

ZoSoRose Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 id be happy with any of these options-same-ol' chidem tour or all new themed tour but in the USA and i go to a gignew album/materialreunion shows (that i see) or new materialyes, im selfish
Chris 55 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Yes this pretty much does confirm it! Nice to see the guys on the road again!I'd rather have them working on a new album, BUT, hopefully the new shows will coincide with a new album
GNR 1991 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Fucking South America everytime. Prior to last year, they hadn't toured South America since the 1990's, excluding their appearance at Rio in 2001.However, where the FUCK are the US dates? Getting tiresome.
Schwarzgold Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 This cannot mean anything else but a new album in august/september, because I cannot see them go on another round of AFD/CD tour. I've heard that before.

GNR_uruguay Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 New album? Okay what if there isn't a new album? It would come across as a cash n' grab tour. So? i'll be happy to see Axl again on a stage, that is enough for me and i think for many fans. Do i want a new album? yeah of course, but i really love to see axl singin again. I mean how many years of ostracism we got?
gunsguy Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 New album? Okay what if there isn't a new album? It would come across as a cash n' grab tour.If it was for cash they made enough already in 2010. Which leaves the idea that maybe just maybe Guns are doing it different this time, not sure how just yet but sure beats years of silence
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 It would come across as a cash n' grab tour. Why are you ruling out the possibility of the "cash n' grab" tours being run to finance a new album or convince the label a new Guns N' Roses effort is worthwhile?

Scaramouche Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 It's awesome to hopefully see more shows added than just RIR
Guns n' Swedes Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I hope Axl stays fit so that he can run around and sing at his best. His shape in the beginning of the last tour was much worse than what it was at the end. Hope he can start in good shape this time!

Sadistically enjoying this! I always thought they appropriated their name from a combination of The Beatles album, and The Velvet underground, but measured up to neither.Guns N' Roses on tour is great news!
