My UYI I disc fails to play properly these days (2 tracks skip lots). Does anyone know where I can pick that up for such a low price ?

You get what you pay for in quality terms dude,

CD is the album that time should forget

Maybe to clear their inventories for another album?

If this has any merit, I don't think it's for a NEW album but to clear the shelves for the repackaged version of CD with a new song or two on it, maybe a tour DVD package. I wouldn't think a full new album would hit this year.

Well, it would be better than nothing.

I guess they have too much inventory? That seems kind of cheap, considering the CD is only a few years old.

Check out Best Buy here

Mass atticipation for supposedly the greatest comeback album in history..fizzled and went no where..crashed and burned in a ball of flames....everything about the fiasco was less than mediocre from every party at the negotiationg table. Chalk it up to "well it seemed like a good idea at the time."

HAd this album done what Merk described in a very early letter...just appeared on the store shelves ..it might have generated some publicity.

Im betting that some executive remembered GNR 91 where stores stayed open late and with lines forming out the door and thought Aha! it will be the same again in 2008. That executive now works at a McDonalds graveyard shift in Palookaville idaho.

I'm betting that that executive made a ton of $ and lives on a private island somewhere and had nothing to do with CD

Yet it was enough to keep you at a GnR forum.

Your posting on a forum of a band that hasn't put out an album that you like in 20 years.....that says something about you.

I actually think the opposite, buddy... as soon as there are no more bitter fools such as yourself that, more than 15 years later, cry themselves to sleep every night thinking about the original formation, Chinese Democracy will finally be heard as what it is, not what it could be or should be. People will then start to give the much needed value to the music and not the band members or whatsoever.

$1.99 is ridiculously cheap. I guess once the fans picked up their copy (copies for some) the album drifted into obscurity, caused by no radio airplay, or television exposure due to lack of video(s).

Best Buy have the rights to part II do they not? I can't see the millions being refundable - which is why they're probably clearing off as many "Chinese Democracy" units as possible in preparation for The General.

That would be great, but I'm starting to lose hope for any releases this year. On the other hand, I'm still expecting a new song on RIR.

Yeah it says how much he or she loves the band and wants it to be what it should be, or at least as good as it should be.

i dont agree, im not bitter and i realy dont care who is in the band aslong as axl sings, but i think C/D is shite, it has a few good songs but over all its just a mess (in my opinion) id love to know what age the people are that love the album and what age the people are the dont like it? my guess would be its mostly younger people that like it

this is my opinion and i can understand why some may love the album, its just not for me (and others)
