Posthumous Tupac Albums

Johnny Drama

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I was going through my music and CD cupboard this morning and found my copies of the posthumous Tupac albums that I have and I realised that I haven't listened to some of these albums at all and was thinking whether I should actually keep them or just bin them (they burnt copies).

So, polished knobs of MYGNR should I keep or send to damnation where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth?

They're all a load of shit really. I don't think if you have one recorded vocal of tupacs, like a simple verse and you put a beat to it and three other artists that Tupac probably wouldn't've pissed on if they were on fire, ain't really a tupac song, thats just Afeni Shakur and Jive Records going through Tupacs pockets before the first shovelful of mud hits the coffin.

Having said that i think R U Still Down is a good album. You get the feeling a great deal of the production of that is authentic and they're also fuckin fully formed songs and that. Until the End of Time too i think, marginally. The rest are shite though, Better Days and all that, load of fuckin bollocks really. I think anyway. Some of em got so fuckin desperate they started reusing verses from 8 albums ago, like they were hoping you weren't gonna notice or somethin

Agreed!

Although I think I'd add "Still I rise", as there are also some good parts on it.

Truth is they all have good stuff on them, and they all have shit on them too. Not the best Pac albums, but still some gold in there
