Former members of Guns n Roses record with Kiara Rocks in Sao Paulo

Brazil received this month the presence of two former members of Guns' n Roses, Matt Sorum and Tracii Guns. Matt is the former drummer of Guns and supergroup Velvet Revolver, and guitarist Tracii was the original lineup of Guns n Roses and glam metal band LA Guns. The rock landed in Sao Paulo to record with the rock band from São Paulo Kiara Rocks - known for being a finalist for the Stars program, the SBT in 2007.

It all started in Hell Club in Rua Augusta, where he played in LA Guns 2008. It was then that he met the singer Tracii Cadu Pellegrini. Cadu RIPs sang in the band, who opened the show, and in parallel in Kiara Rocks.

Tracii was impressed with him, and agreed to collaborate on a project in the future. "When I heard the first time Kiara, remembered what LA Guns and Guns were doing early in his career. Cadu The breathing rock'n'roll and it's rare these days," he told Illustrated.


The desire was realized when Cadu pertuntou Tracii if he wanted to play the new album Kiara. Tracii not only agreed, but convinced Matt Sorum part of the project. "Matt knew the Cadu because I tried to help the Cadu to audition to be vocal, Velvet Revolver. At the time it was not possible, but Matt liked Cadu and stumbled."

The hard rock band Velvet Revolver was formed by Scott Weiland, Slash, Duff Mc Kagan and Matt Sorum, Scott Weiland, but left them in 2008. "Cadu was even considered for Velvet Revolver, Slash but decided to go with his solo project," Matt nodded.

The drummer went to Brazil to play four songs, but eventually became the album's producer. "I'm going back to Sao Paulo in July to work on more tracks after Cadu want to bring to my studio."

He also confirmed the possible involvement of other former members of Guns n Roses on CD: "I called the Slash and Duff to participate and they were interested."
