i want to finally see them in LA and Vegas too and i did try and make the topic a little less heart stopping

Cool, thanks! If I dont get a Texas show, I would love to see them in Vegas again. I saw them at the joint in 06. I saw them two nights in a row! There is no feeling like a guns show finishing and you are at a high and knowing that you get to live it again in 24 hrs later. To be honest I have a goal on this tour to hopefully see them 3 nights in a row!

Having been at the Hammerstein shows in 2006 i would love to see the gunners play there again on this tour

do you think there will be any NY shows?

I am not sure.

Florida and Kansas City (because of the fillm, 'The Wizard of Oz') are the places where Non US folk go on holiday; that is why they have been targeted.

New York has no significance anymore, after 'Friends' ended. Why would they go there now?

(Note - I am being sarcastic)

:gasp: Oh I see hidden messages here! I will now proceed to misinterpret, and twist this into a spectacular internet rumor to circulate and tip off TMZ about! (Am I playing the game right?)

Anybody from the UK ever flown over for a gig in the US?

Thinking of biting the bullet and flying over for an New York gig, seeing them at MSG would be pretty epic.

But first things first, anyone who's ever done it, what would the total cost roughly be? Flight, accommodation, ticket, food etc.

I'm thinking of doing it too. Any advice would be gratefully received.

im from the UK i went to the Hammerstein shows in 2006 i was 17 at the time so my uncle came with me we are both huge fans

in terms of advice i would say its the best experience you will get do a 3 night stay that way you can check out new York shopping too

if you can stay on the out skirts of the city .. inner city hotels are very expensive

i would say it will cost you about £1500 if you dont plan on shopping and literally just wanna go to the show and eat and drink

GNR could easily cover the northeast for a month.

Affordable Manhattan motels/hotels take a lot of searching out, but there's some good deals out there where you'll wind up in a decent area.

Cheers

Bit pricier than I'd imagined, probably a stretch too far. To save a quid or 2 I wonder if I could time it so I fly in for late afternoon, take in the show and head to the airport afterwards and hang around for the flight home...

You mean like a package, thats what a couple of friends have said as well...

I'm not that bothered about sleep, I think adrenaline would get me through lol.

Exactly, who sleeps after a killer concert? Go to orbitz or one of the comparison sites and you may find a good setup!
