WhazUp
For me it definitely has to be Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III that album has a fantastic autumn vibe to it, as well as Neil Young's acoustic stuff Edited September 22, 2011 by WhazUp

GivenToFly
Ones with rain in them: Rainy Night in Soho by The Pogues, November Rain by GNR, Love Reign O'er Me by The Who. All three very beautiful ballads. Not the two 'rain' songs by CCR, as all CCR songs have a summer vibe to them. She Was Hot by The Rolling Stones, you wouldn't expect it, it's one of their best songs on one of their worst albums.70's Pink Floyd albums, especially Dark Side.Tom Waits' Downtown Train and a few off his live album Big Time.Song to a Siren by Robert Plant. That's the version I know, but apparently there are many covers of this song. It's by Tim Buckley, I think.Anna Lee by Dream Theater, maybe a bit too bombastic though, I think of 'autumn' songs as being a bit more understated. The entire Dire Straits discography.Chris Rea's Road to Hell, parts 1 and 2. Part 2 is the famous one, but I prefer the first one.Bob Dylan albums Oh Mercy and Time out of Mind, especially the latter, and especially the song Highlands (you won't find it on youtube). Also maybe Blood on the Tracks. Edited September 22, 2011 by GivenToFly

GnRDuff1
Alice in Chains - Jar of FliesType O Negative - October Rust (album), September Sun and Halloween in Heaven (songs)To me Autumn is the beginning of beautiful desolation year after year. Jar of Flies definitely has a "beginning of the end" depression to it and TON are just very dark/goth in general so yeah.
