Following a series of leaked dates, Guns N' Roses have officially announced a fall tour of the North America, their first tour state-side in five years.

The band promises that the 30 concerts will each last two and a half hours and will kick off on October 28th in Orlando, Florida.

The initial dates and routing has been announced with a promise of more to come. The tour is set to conclude with a New Year's Eve concert in a yet to be announced location.

Prior to the North American outing, GNR will tour Latin America, starting with a sold out, headline slot for the closing day of the Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 2nd , for 75,000 fans.

Guns N' Roses are Axl Rose, DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums).

The tour is scheduled to hit the following cities:

Oct 28 Orlando, FL @ Amway Center Arena

Oct 29 Miami, FL @ American Airlines Arena

Oct 31 Greenville, SC @ Bi-Lo Center Arena

Nov 2 Atlanta, GA @ Phillips Arena Houston, TX

Nov 5 Dallas, TX @ Gexa Energy Pavillion

Omaha, NE

Tulsa, OK

Nov 12 Kansas City, MO @ Sprint Center Arena

Nov 13 Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center Arena

Chicago, IL @ All State Arena

East Rutherford, NJ

Hartford, CT

Wilkes-Barre, PA

Worcester, MA

Camden, NJ

Detroit, MI

Cincinnati, OH

Nashville, TN

Indianapolis, IN

Denver, CO

More dates, cities and venue information to be announced very soon.

Now I doubt they will debut new songs at Rio, perhaps they will at the 'undisclosed' location.

Anyone want to have a guess?

It does seem like they're going to be working their way west, if that list of cities is in order.

They also cancelled on San Diego twice over the past decade, so I'm pretty sure they'll get a show. I'm also thinking the LA shows will prob. be back at Citywalk, even though the old LA Sports Arena would be a more fun, sweaty show.

Bands have played Hollywood Bowl in November before.

In my experience, the Hollywood Bowl and Gibson Amphitheater are the best venues.

It would be so perfect if GN'R played LA last. No school. :)

Gibson Amphitheater is great, GNR played some great gigs there in 2006. I saw Rush twice there a couple months ago and both performances were great, the sound quality in that venue is fantastic

Does that quote in the original post say North American tour? So should we expect maybe a few Canadian ones again? (maybe jumping the gun).

I'm waiting it out, if they announce the rest and there's no Winnipeg show, I'll probably be heading out to Minneapolis. Legit.

All I know, Winnipeg won't be the New Years Eve show. Maple Leafs and Jets are playing in Winnipeg that night.

Where in Vegas do you think though. HOB isn't a chance

The Joint, The Pearl, MGM, Mandalay Bay, Thomas and Mack, Planet Hollywood, Red Rock Amplitheater......this IS Vegas....HOB is a pretty minor Venue out here compared to the rest.....

Also...the LAST FOUR shows in Vegas were at The Joint at the Hard Rock.....and they don't have anything booked yet...

I've only been to the Gibson Amphitheater once, and it was Rush (on my birthday). I got the cheapest tickets and still had great seats. The venue's absolutely perfect.
