Guest NewGNRnOldGNR
Intelligent move on the part of GN’R management/Axl/promoters etc. This notable undercard will be integral to the success of the tour.

kyrie
From a marketing perspective this is a great opener. I'm not a big fan, but they do make a good match.
Sonny Largo
i like that song about loving the cocaine. i liked it when KISS did it and it was called "shock me," too.that song about the crazy bitch, though? yeah, that song's fucking awful. pimpster4183
Buckcherry is intense live, love those guys.. a perfect fit with GNR
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR
Horrible, unintelligent act – which is really the formula for success in the US. Good move on the part of GN’R.
Ghostie
To be fair, there's not much out there in the melodic rock genre that would help ticket sales, so in that regard, it is a good choice. I still think Loaded is the best choice on the whole, reunion rumorists be damned. Hope the Buckcherry thing is a one-off.

Rovim
I liked their first album. Some cool tunes. Anything after that - not so much. There are worst bands to open for Guns.
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR
who are Buckcherry ?Bland crudeness.Certainly a very significant warm-up act to sign up though.
Gunner55
Oh fuck yeah! Hopefully they go for the whole tour. I've seen Buckcherry 4 times and they ALWAYS put on a great show.
pimpster4183
Buckcherry is almost like GNR lyric wise and hard straight rock sound.. GNR has just as many "crude" songs as josh Todd and buckcherry
sweetness
GNR has just as many "crude" songs as josh Todd and buckcherryYeah, but they don't sound forced
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR
Buckcherry is almost like GNR lyric wise and hard straight rock sound.. Buckcherry’s entire song collection consists of various versions of the sentiments expressed in It’s So Easy (which is at best mediocre in comparison with other songs on Appetite). It’s So Easy is by far more intelligent and interesting than anything Buckcherry have ever produced. They’ve never penned a Jungle, Sweet Child, Estranged, November Rain etc. and never will. GN’R could have crude aspects certainly, but by no means was that their limitation.Yeah, but they don't sound forcedPrecisely. Buckcherry are posers and wannabes, whereas GN’R was everything they expressed in their lyrical content. That sort of thing was cool in the 80s. Snowmass
Hope Axl is OK with this - Josh Todd on Motley Crue "They are are heroes...." Although I imagine the Axl/Vince feud is long since over. Also, aren't Slash & Todd cordial/friends? That's gotta piss Axl off.
