I don’t think many are appreciative of how grave Bumblefoot’s injuries are.

This video captures perfectly the extent which this man is suffering:

Thank you Bumblefoot for your immense bravery and perseverance to partake in this tour and still behave so amiably to the fans.

He looks like Jesus in that

He looks gaunt and profoundly unwell.

Let’s all encourage Bumblefoot that his madness to perform is appreciated, greatly. Thus giving him a purpose to continue.

if he's in pain they can give him stuff that'll help.

It’s still there though, it doesn’t prevent Bumblefoot’s pain post-show or indefinitely.

If I was in his position I’d be miserable; yet he still meets each fan with warmth and gratitude.

i may be a bıt out of the loop here but what ıs wrong wıth bbf? ıs he ill or injured? apologies if i sound ıgnorant but i had no idea anything was wrong with the great man.

He was involved in a severe car crash several weeks ago. He's still in treatment and still has pain in his back/upper neck; therefore he has to take painkillers to be able to perform. As for the video, I guess he tries to avoid the meds he has to take for the shows in his spare time - pain or not, I wouldn't like to be drugged all the time neither.

I do think Bumblefoot shows great courage the man strives through the pain I think that shows great character B)

All the best for Bumblefoot and I hope over time some of the pain is reduced

I like Ron because he sported the clone trooper helmet at Rio. Plus Ron's current hair configuration looks like Qui-Gon.

Nah, just playin- I'm glad he's persevering, as he's a wiseass comedian and his gitar skills are impressive. His tone and feel on Estranged in rio was captivating. And on a selfish note, I like Bumble because he films GnR rehearsals.

Whiplash (or whatever) is wicked unpleasant. Hopefully he won't need papaya enzyme injected in his back like Harrison Ford had during filming of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. /true story /random

he gets paid. spare me this bravery crap.

Do you get paid for being shitty all the time? Because I mean- it sure seems that way.

Dude fucked his back up. Did you see the pictures? This is a fan forum, we're fans (well not you obviously), so yeah people are going to classify it as brave because it kinda is. Also, do you know what it's like to play guitar on painkillers? It's an extra hurdle, and it requires more focus and effort in some ways.

[Jon Favreau] Don't be shitty. [/Jon Favreau]

He doesn’t get paid to individually greet every fan that gathers outside his hotel whilst essentially stricken.

He wouldnt understand that! I bet he could make up a story though. And call us a bunch of names, like always.

It's just something that comes with the territory of performing rock music.

Actors deal with the same crap - Gerard Butler was talking about how he is still in pain from putting his body through a grueling workout for "300".

It's part of show biz to look your best while you're on stage. Once you're off stage, a whole other story.

He knows if he told Axl he couldn't do it, it would throw the entire tour out of whack and potentially put him out of a lucrative gig.
