gnrfan2007
Axl was probably the first successful non-rapper white musician to promote and praise nWo.Hence why all the young G's like Jay-z and Kanye respect Axl.

Axl knew that Ice Cube was a smart successful man, so he hung out with him. He later became a pretty damn good movie star and is now in a Coors Light commercial. Slash hung out with the guy who contracted AIDS. Edited October 21, 2011 by iftheworld
RussTCB
It was a good day in South Central LA.It would appear so. After all, neither of them look prepared to use their AKs, I gotta say it was a good day.

iftheworld
It's N.W.A, you must've still had Hogan on your mind N.W.A was hugely influential to the rap scene in the early 90's. They were the first group to truly speak their minds about racial and political issues in rap. Your remark is invalid. Most of the rappers were talking about social and political issues, but NWA took it over the top when Straight Outta Compton came out. To me, what the Pistols were to the UK in '77, NWA were to America in '88. Axl wouldn't have been able to avoid hearing it. Ice T, Schooly D, Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, and plenty of others did their part.

Your remark is invalid.I know who NWA was, I was listening to them when you may have still been in diapers (don't know how old you are). If you bothered to read who I was responding to, you would have seen that gnrfan2007 referred to them as nWo. We had just been having a discussion in another thread about Hogan, so I was giving gnrfan a little shit, because he obviously still had Hogan on his mind to be not only calling NWA the NWO, but he even did the "nWo" spelling just like the wrestling faction by that name, which Hogan led. So, yeah, my remark was totally valid thank you
