Realistically? Estranged better stay as a staple, along with Madagascar. As for ones that have not been played yet, but could realistically, There Was a Time, Shackler's, Prostitute and Catcher. As for ones that are not realistic, Breakdown, Coma, Back off Bitch, Dead Horse or maybe a lick off of Spaghetti. Whatever they play though, I'll be happy to hear.

And an acoustic set would rule mid show would rule. Imagine Civil War

Don't have to imagine it.

:D

that was painful, especially when he went into the raspy voice part.

And I say that with an unbiased opinion as I think he should be the next VR singer.

Naps, I apologize if I'm wrong and I mean no disrespect, this is an honest question (no sarcasm). But why do people call GnR a cover band.....but then the same people have no problem with VR or Myles covering GnR songs. It makes no sense to me.

Personally, I love to hear other artist's takes on good material. To me, nothing Myles sings takes anything away from Axl. And, nothing dj plays takes away anything from old slash era GnR. But some people get really angry about it.

Same reason people don't care when McCartney covers Beatles songs, or Waters covers Floyd songs.

I can promise you though if they were touring under the Beatles or Floyd banner by themselves, the public reaction would be the same as what Axl gets. A large amount of derision and mocking from the general public at large.

If it has to be explained why the name makes a difference and what it means to people (for any beloved band) then chances are that person will never understand.

Slash touring around under his own name playing GNR songs (and his own stuff) will always be viewed differently than Axl hiring an all new band and calling them GNR doing the same thing. If Axl were touring under his own name, he would get about 1/10th of the negativity he does from the public. Then again he would be playing in front of a fraction of the people he is by using the name, so that will always be the rub.

My God that sucks...

That guy can't sing this song for shit.

Civil War & Coma are songs that are better left untouched...

I understand all that. I guess I just don't care that much about the name. The music is what is important, not the name of the band.

The concert tomorrow night will sound exactly the same, regardless if it is GnR....or if before the first song Axl comes out and says "as of tonite, we will no longer use the name GnR and will go ny Axl's Nutsack." Either way, the songs will sound exactly the same.

I strongly disagree with your 1/10 statement. The majority of people attending a GnR show would also attend a show put on by The Axl Rose Band. Everybody willing to pay $75-100 knows that slash/Duff and Izzy aren't in the band anymore.

I've been wanting to hear what Going Down is, even tho I think it's a cover.

Other than that.

I.R.S.

Prostitute (Could very well work with Axl's current voice)

Oh My God

Pretty Tied Up

Nice Boys (Instead of Rosie)

Think About You

Down On The Farm

Shackler's Revenge

And they could drop these anytime without me caring:

Live And Let Die

You Could Be Mine

Paradise City

I'd love to hear think about you, too!

Sure would be awesome to hear "Oklahoma" when they're in Oklahoma. I know it's now called Berlin or who knows what, but still---what better place to play that song and talk about the background of it?

Chance of that happening----roughly .00069 %
