Just think, Zakk could have been IN GnR if it weren't for the fuckin' lawyers

This is the ULTIMATE opening band, fuckin amazing

Meh, not a fan of his voice. The music has the right attitude and tone to pump up a GnR crowd. Good for their purpose.

They're a good band, I just don't personally like Zakk as a singer, so I don't listen to them. Live I think they'll be fine

That's cause he isn't a vocalist, he's a frontman... how 'bout listening to his guitar playing?

Actually it was Slash. Slash didn't like having to compete as lead guitarist and didn't think it sounded GNR to have two loud guitar players at once. He liked having a more laid back and submissive rhythm guitarist.

I heard about that. I also heard that years later, Zakk ran into Axl and asked "man what happened?," and Axl told him "well your lawyer told my lawyer that you wanted $2 million up front and your own tour bus"
