This is what makes me think there is a new album in the works

I seem to remember awhile back MSL saying something about caram costanzo not working on a new gnr album due to back pay and once he got his pay he would resume his work?

Something that really wasn't mentioned at all was the fact that Carams photo was taken on tour with gnr down in SA (the photo is somewhere buried on the site, maybe someone has it?), so it really makes me think that guns may be working on some new material while on the road.

Thats just my hope anyways.

GnR's done a lot of covers, they play a lot of them live, I don't know what makes you think they won't slip one or two onto the next album. According to MSL, Light My Fire is also on it, and that'd be a Doors cover.

MSL had a list of songs (on a zip drive he sent to china, theres a video of it on either this forum somewhere or on the GNFR forum) that were suposedly for the new album and "goin down" was on it. Then bumble claims "goin down" is a freddy king cover. Do you think there would be a cover on a New GN'R album?

How do you know Goin Down was on it? The video only showed him talking with a computer screen...

MSL read the title Going Down. You can't seriously be dismissing MSL because he had Going Down when it was a cover. What are the odds he would just pick a title and it ended up being on GN'R's suggested setlist a few months later? Maybe he wasn't certain of the context the songs were in but he obviously had something.

I think we search the smallest pieces of evidence that might make us think that we'll get new music soon.

I don't think it means anything.

Is every statement made by DJ and Sebastian the 'smallest pieces of evidence'?

I was referring to this particular fact.

I don't think it means anything, but I do think we'll get new music in a few months.

That doesn't sound all that weird actually, very sharp of you!

Who knows, you're the first one to point this out.

Regardless of MSL, I do believe there is at least an intention of release some tracks - not an album, tho. OMG and Silkworms being rehearsed along with Going Down may tell you something.

But about Caram Constanzo, this is just wishful thinking. Constanzo was down here in South America last year too and nothing came out by then. I know he was here in São Paulo, at least.

Caram's been traveling with GNR since the Canada tour. I met him in Halifax. We were staying in the Marriott and I met him and Frank in the Lobby. I didn't know what his role with the band was when we met. Nice guy. Maybe they have been recording for the past two years.

I really don't think you should vest any hopes into a new album being released anytime soon. If anything, wait until Axl's interview with Eddie Trunk and go from there. Even then, be skeptical.

it is november :shrugs:

What do you mean?

i'd love this to be true but I just get the feeling that spring or summer is of next year is most likely especially with the U.S. tour doing fairly well. It will give Axl (more importantly the record company) that last piece of evidence that the public is eager to hear more.

ah well next theory :shrugs:

Axl may announce something on That Metal Show. What people forget is that Guns management would have had to have contacted Eddie, not the other way around. As Eddie and the crew cancelled their show for that night to go all the way see Guns. I really doubt they went there on a hunch or on the off chance Axl 'might' grant them an interview, not with the whole crew.
