Thank you Axl for Civil War... now ahem... how about Silkworms?

I'm stoked as anyone to see Civil War being played. Def one of my top 5 fav songs from UYI. We've also got to hear Estranged. Now I know there's a hunger to see OMG being played... but it just got me thinking I'd personally rather hear Silkworms again. I still get a kick out of watching the RIR performance with Bucket. It's just plain awesome.

I hope before I'm old and grey, we get to hear the rest of the CD songs. Plus all the other odds and ends like Silkworms. Heck I bet there's a whole bunch of stuff Axl has locked away from the OMG era.

I'd certainly like to hear how it's evolved since it was last played live. As great as the band are at playing rock stuff (even the Chi Dem is still pretty rock, just with more modern flourishes) I'd love to hear more of the slightly experimental stuff that they seemed to be really into for a while.

They've all been played live.

As much as I LOVE "Oh My God" , how do you think Axl would sound on it these days? It really is one of his more aggressive vocals, I think he could of killed it in 2010 but with his higher and cleaner approach I don't know if it would come off the way we want it to. With Silkworms, I hated it when I first heard it but have learned to really, really appreciate it. Did Axl write the lyrics to "Silkworms" , I'm not sure if it was Dizzy and Pittman coming up with the lyrics as well as the music.

Hold your horses buddy, we need oh m god first!

Some user asked Fernando about it, and he said it's hard to do OMG in a 3h show..

So i think we should ask for TWAT!

What does he mean it's too hard to do? Does he mean it's gonna kill Axl vocally?
