Georgy Zhukov Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I think Noel did. said it was ludicrous it took 15 years to make or something. Liam should join VR.This is actually quite a lengthy insightful Matt. Now he expects to get kick round the Internet and blamed for the financial crisis.Noel said he knew he was going to love it based on the bad reviews he's read.
Ultrastar Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I really dislike Matt Sorum, probably my least favorite member of GNR ever. He has my vote for the band's worst drummer. I want to punch him in his goofy face every time I see an interview with him in it.
wasted Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Noel must wish he wrote Catcher.I think Noel did. said it was ludicrous it took 15 years to make or something. Georgy Zhukov Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 (edited) Yeah, I am sure a lot of people wish they wrote it.I am hit or miss on Matt. Sometimes he impresses me, other times I felt a drum machine would do better. Edited December 14, 2011 by BirdCatcher
spunko12345 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 This is probably a Dust N' Bones topic, but I wonder what Matt though of Chinese Democracy and if it sounded like he thought it would. It seems a lot of the band members at the time of the breakup, were worried about Axl's music ambitions. After years of hearing about Axl's obsession with industrial music I was surprised how rocking the songs were.I wanna hear that 1999 Robin-Huge-Stinson-Freese album. Was supposed to be industrial and dark as shit a la OMG. Per that South American radio interview in 2001(?) the label suggested he rework the songs into what we got in 2008. Too bad. There must be a reason that nothing came of it. I doubt there is some genius lost album out there just gathering dust for the sake of it. The mundane truth is that it probably isnt any good. Every band has tons of music that didn't make the standard that never gets heard.
Midnight Rambler Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Makes me sad to see this interview. Just makes me wonder what could have been.
dalsh327 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Ask him which would he rather do: Y Kant Tori Read reunion or the GNR reunion... Tori's vs Axl's ass to look at for 2 hours.
